Shorter is smarter where possible

Using .com is the easiest to remember but there are other good options out there too

Be flexible with words

- Local domains like .com.na start from N$750 per year

What's the difference between domain extensions?
Domain extensions were originally designed for specific purposes:
- .com – commercial businesses
- .net – networks
- .org – organizations
- .gov – government
- .edu – education
These days, those distinctions have blurred, and .com has become the standard for most businesses.
Country-specific extensions like .na or .com.na for Namibia helps to signal local presence. We offer registration for both!

Do I own my domain name forever?
No. Registering a domain isn’t the same as buying property – you’re leasing it. You don’t own a domain name; you lease it and must renew annually to maintain control. Miss a renewal, and it becomes available for someone else to register.
What happens if my domain expires?
We’ll send you renewal reminders before your domain expires. If you do miss the renewal date, there’s a 30-day grace period where you can still recover it. After that grace period ends, the domain becomes available for anyone else to register.
Can I transfer my domain to another registrar?
Yes. You own the rights to your domain name, so you decide which registrar manages it. The transfer process has some technical requirements, but we don’t charge transfer fees. Note that some registrars may charge on their end.
What if the domain I want is already taken?
You’ve got options:
- Buy it from the current owner (if they’re willing to sell)
- Try alternative extensions (.net, .com.na, .business)
- Modify the name slightly (add a word, use hyphens, adjust spelling)
